PlayStation Network is having a rough Tuesday night. At the moment, Sony’s PlayStation Network status page shows that all of its services are currently experiencing problems in one way or another, affecting things like logging into your account and connecting to PlayStation Now and the PlayStation Store.
It is not clear how widespread the problems are. I’ve personally been able to connect online in Bloodborne and send a message to a colleague, but the PS5’s PlayStation Store is having trouble loading a lot of content. Some others have more serious problems connecting online, including “error code WS-37469-9” as shown in this thread on the r/PS5 subreddit.
As I write this, there are over 14,000 user reports of PlayStation Network issues on Downdetector.
epic games tweeted also on the issue, pointing Fortnite PlayStation players who may be experiencing login issues to Sony’s PlayStation Network status site. To my surprise, I was able to log into Fortnite and play a match even after forcing the app to close and restart, so the issues don’t seem to affect everyone.
Update April 12, 7:33 PM ET: Added Fortnite tweet from Epic Games.
